I've seen that too and agree. However to add some nuance as a somewhat anprim, the appeal to me is the raw simplicity of things and direct connection to so much of life. An analogy might be someone who is excited by writing assembly.

Vaccines can drive mutations, too. I don't know if that's the case here but it's been seen with other pathogens and vaccines

Hello left handed friend! I don't have anything useful to add, only wanted to share my experience being left handed. I use a right handed mouse with my left hand, which makes me hold it quite strangely and the buttons are still for rig

The book is about Intelligent Design, but the reviewer (Gelernter) as far as I understand is only claiming that the theory of evolution doesn't hold. He is neither a creationist or proponent of ID

You might find the work of David Gelernter (computer scientist) interesting. He's not a creationist, but he has abandoned the theory of evolution. > Suppose, then, that every bacterium that has ever lived contributes one mutation be

I actually mostly agree. I just don't really like the aesthetics of writing Go, which I know is a silly reason.

Ebiten is actually making me want to get back into Go itself. I'd love to make a cross platform game and it may just motivate me enough to push through my ideological biases against Go.

I found Zotero very confusing to use. But maybe I am not the target demographic. I have always just used vim txt files for notes, using cli tools like grep to find what I need.

Haha, in theory that's true. But in practice comments are frequently flagged that the majority demographic of HN disagrees with, even breaking no guidelines. It's exactly what the OP to my comment was saying.

Are you meaning it is or is not a frequent occurrence? Because the way you've phrased it here it seems that you agree with the OP but I suspect you meant the opposite.
