Thanks for the thoughtful comment. I originally wrote "results" in place of "influence" but that sounded overused. I do believe that emails with better content, better design, and better accessibility will drive more visibility (and opens

It is a web app. It handles subscriber management, templates, compose workflows, and of course sending emails. Sendicate is a full ESP. Templates are very welcome. Have a look at the template docs https://github.com/Sendicate/sendicate-

I agree. I am anti Lorem Ipsum but it is a placeholder for the time being. We have some amazing templates that are part of the beta that are as beautiful and flexible as a lot of the Tumblr themes. The theme syntax is actually very simila

Wow that was quick. The site hasn't even been online for 24 hours yet. I created Sendicate and if there are questions I'd be happy to answer.

As the founder of a new email company, actually sending emails is the baseline and assumed part of any ESP service. Whilst deliverability is absolutely important it is assumed that a professional service has this covered. The real value I

For a great look at iPad use by doctors read this Wired article. "Canada’s Ottawa Hospital uses close to 3,000 iPads, and they’re popping up everywhere — in the lab coats of attending physicians, residents, and pharmacists. " http://www.wi

Great work guys! I think you hit the nail on the head with the template style being the best approach for easily putting together emails with clean code. HTML email editors are in a terrible state and that is why I have created Sendicate

This is a timely article for me as I am just about to launch a email startup called Sendicate that adds tools to simplify and empower email-based communication. Another way of looking at it is like a content publishing app for email. For

Why Starbucks? Why not setup a barista in a street cart and make your own (and you will also be mobile to handle different areas and sell to foot traffic)? You can skip the Starbucks lines, increase your margin significantly, and work on

Everyone has seen Nmap used and might not even know it. It was famously used by Trinity in The Matrix, and has popped up in Die Hard, Bourne Ultimatum, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and more. http://nmap.org/movies.html I wonder if Hol

This is a myopic article. I challenge any marketing channel to drive instant real world sales for a brick and mortar retail store. It just doesn't happen like the article expects with its naive assumptions. It is too early to measure the

This is a good move. With the proliferation of Facebook apps there needed to be a better way to discover apps, especially ones that your social network is using. It is a social version of Apple's App Store.

Thank you Github! I was just hoping that the graphs would get updated. This gives me better oversight into who/what/where/when. Although perhaps a bug - my punch card graph is empty.

Does anyone see the irony in referencing Star Wars in an article on taste. Not to mention the cinematic blasphemy of indirectly comparing Kurosawa to MS Powerpoint!
