Rode a sportbike all through college. I was - of course - a hooligan and rode with a bunch of other hooligans. After few of the folks in our group died (I didn't see the accidents, just heard about them) I stopped riding with them and

I should take better care of mine. I've never polished them and they look pretty shabby. Any tips for polishing? I've got the gear, just never used it. I know, I know - Youtube is that way. :-)

I have no idea but not 1000 miles. I wear them to work and back. Apparently I'm hard on shoes? I didn't think they needed to be resoled, but I don't know shoes. My wife is the "fashionista". :-)

Can you point to any writeups about this? The cost is low enough that I could just try it myself, but I do have one question about "controller support." I play PC Racing sims - I wonder about the support for wheel/pedals. I&#

I'm loathe to go down this rabbit hole, but I have anecdotal experience here. My wife convinced me to buy a pair of what I thought was very expensive boots. (Wolverine 1000 Mile boot). They are nice, and supposed to last "a very l

Denver/Boulder. Google just opened a big office up here and there are several incubators here as well. Housing costs are eye-watering from my perspective, but cheap for someone from SV or even Seattle.

I've listened to 2 or 3 Audiobooks and nearly every one of them (short of Wheaton reading his own "Just A Geek") was unbearable to listen to. I don't know what the percentage of readers interject their own "emphasis

10,000 "brand new" cars available in 2017? I don't think so. 10,000 models ever made? probably. Generally these cars are very limited production runs starting at 500 examples for the "common" ones (seriously) down t

Nitpick: A high-end Ferrari (and other high end supercars) is well in the millions. You aren't going to see these at your local showroom because they aren't available. They are only offered to folks that already own Ferraris and a

IMO Boulder itself isn't really an awesome place to live, but pretty much anywhere else along the Front Range (Ft Collins to Castle Rock) is lovely. Obviously there's a lot of VC in Boulder - a commute from the southern regions wo

Denverite here. It's not Silicon Valley, but rents and housing are pretty out of control here too. Additionally it's still very car-centric. Lots of opportunity though. I really have no idea what the "enclose a bullet" p

It's a good question. I'm not well-versed enough in design theory to answer, but I'll offer my opinion anyway. :-) The fins on a 1959 Cadillac are well-integrated (design-wise) on the car. It's a theme of the era and the
