This feels very polished. Fantastic work. How did you implement this? Is this done using RenderScript and standard layout elements or some OpenGL/gaming library?

bintrees is a fantastic package. There are even Cython-powered implementations that give a nice speed boost, if you need it.

If you use print() in py2k, you're still using the print statement and group the argument in parentheses. It falls apart, if you try to use more than one argument, because it's interpreted as a tuple then. Python3: >>> pri

In Python 3, zip() fortunately already returns an iterator.

Without `from __future__ import print_function`, print doesn't work the same way in Py2k, though.

One of my favorite things about Python 3 is that the grammar actually got smaller: http://docs.python.org/3/reference/grammar.html It's only three lines, but still.

My parents are on 12.04 and will be as long as the long term support lasts. I'm pretty sure forcing them to use Windows would mean a lot of telephone support for the next months. If anything, I would migrate them to another distribution. I

I really like the attitude the movie had about the very topic of time travel. It's basically: Let's not waste our time with talking about this. It would take us the whole day.

This is a fixable problem. BIP 0037[0] for example tries to mitigate the size issue with bloom filters, so you no longer need to download the complete block chain to be able to verify transactions. [0]: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BIP_0037
