According to the article, she is called "Truong My Lan", perhaps the author's muscle memory or autocorrect was kicking in.

There is "she asked her 18,000 followers on Facebook to share their opinions about a tomato puree". Is jail time appropriate for that? Probably not, but she did not just review puree, she asked her followers to do it to.

I personally like the Economist. They do have a some bias, but they make that pretty clear most of the time. The articles don't contain too much fluff or "storytelling", but mostly get very straight to the point. Also, I real

You don't need ML to do this, there are already auto landing (and auto take off) systems that work very well. The hardest part is taxiing on the airport and taking part in air control procedures doesn't work at all AFAIK.

With that argument, Germany also has "full control" over those machines, as the optics are a "very important component" manufactured by Zeiss.

How does controlling one component give them control over the whole machine?

This seems to be common practice at Airbus. I recently did a public tour of one of Airbus' major assembly lines. I remember the tour guide telling us, that their customers (the airlines) either have their own QA people on the line when

Hard disagree. I spent a very significant amount of my waking time working. This is one of the best opportunities to make friends, and IMHO it's also nicer to work with friends than with non-friends. Most of the friends I made as an ad

At least in Germany, the UK, and Spain it's not (only) contractors, but Airbus itself. IIRC there are around 50k employees in Germany and France each, 13k in Spain and the UK each.

I would have said there is no problem with your style (nothing brash/abrasive), but you used a lot of jargon, that people who are not very deep into LLMs (large language models) would not understand. Interests of hackernews visitors

I haven't read a lot of LLM papers, but I believe this is a rather weak paper low on details (note: not the results achieved of the LLM, but the paper itself). If it had landed on my desk for a review, I probably would have sent it ba

Most employees are part of the public health insurance system in Germany. People who are not employees and people with an income above a certain threshold can (or sometimes must) choose a private health insurance.
