In other words an assembly line? What about the machine learning algos which suggest pizzas based on previous purchases. What about the convolutional networks to recognize that each spray of sauce is truly unique and 'artisanal?'

FWIW I would think that how a weapon _looks_ matters less than how it performs. If it shoots and injures/kills it doesn't matter to me if it's bright pink with rainbows and unicorns all over—it's still a perfectly valid

First let me say that I've used only vim and emacs for the last 5+ years that I have been a daily coder. I'm extremely comfortable with vim. I can cruise seemingly at light speed and have just never been able to find a text editor
