Tim Cook's email being posted around the 'net has nothing to do with this, and bringing it up only shows your lack of an argument. Someone posted a private email address on Twitter. The owner of that email address filed a complaint, and the

The parent isn't fixated on the word "widely"— you are. Your entire comment talks about how "widely" is a poor word choice and, in doing so, misses the parent's point. Swap out the word "widely" with the word "intentionally" if it makes you

It's still personal if you can guess it. For instance, you might be able to guess someone's GMail username by their Facebook vanity URL or their Hacker News username. That doesn't mean you can post their email all over the place. If it's no

Wouldn't that be accomplishing the same thing— since M-JPEG keeps the connection open— except you're forcing the client to send another request when they refresh?

I'm not sure if you remember the whole thing where John Carmack had to change some 3D shader code in Doom 3 because of a patent dispute. The change was adding four lines of code and changing two.[0] So I would say choosing between two simil

I think he did a decent job answering. However, /r/Android is being needlessly confrontational and cynical. For instance, this question from your linked thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/ww982/iama_patent_e... was answered

Actually, most of the images were swiped from girls' Facebook and Photobucket accounts without their permission. These were definitely not meant to be spread around for wanking material.
