I think it depends on where you work. I work at a large internet startup in NYC, and out of 250-ish employees we have, maybe only 10 are foreign.

Thanks. I didn't know you could delete things. I tried the same swipe to no avail.

Just of the top of my head I could say Paypal (when they started out) and AirBnb operate in legal grey areas.

I thought HIV was the virus and AIDS was the condition, the article repeatedly says "AIDS virus"– am I mistaken?

Another article mentioned frid.ge had 40.000 uniques and 20.000 groups. Does that say something?

I like Austin, but a group I was part of used Fridge and it made my pull my hair. Thanks to Fridge, I now know how my grandmother feels like using a computer. The UI was really overwhelming and I could never find what I was after or why thi

If you're looking for resizable icons that work in non-canvas non-SVG settings, putting those vectors in a webfont is a pretty good idea too. Check out: http://pictos.drewwilson.com/

I was interested in working for Airbnb too. Last January I tweeted out about how much I love them, and through the tweet I ended up visiting their offices and chatting with Joe, one of their founders. They were very generous with their time

This exact thing does exist. Different vacation types, different destinations.. All covered. Gave you hotel and airfare prices. Was quite thorough although was a flash app. Don't remember the name of the site though. Adioso.com?

This app exists and is hugely successful. It works in Airports, Office Buildings, Government Buildings, inside the Court House... called "GRINDR".

Funny that you mention iTunes, it's presumably completely off Steve's radar now. Just try right clicking on a song, see how clunky it is.

I don't think an alphabetical sort is appropriate in this context, since it wouldn't make sense to consider reading them in that order. I personally would put Bringhurst's book at the very top.
