If you make bolts in a factory and some of those bolts are used for an aeroplane, some of which may be bombers it's probably negligible. If you, like the OP, are creating a drone with the specific effect of being a weapon, then I think

Defense is the sanitised version. Let's say you program code for a hellfire heat tracking missile. Now sure you can tell yourself it's only going to be used by the good guys but really you know at some point your code is going to

The reason I stay on HN is the signal to noise ratio is considerably higher here than on any other site. It isn't even close. Digg.com used to have it and so did reddit, but it degraded so much that they became unuseable.

I think branch names are quite unimportant in development and often don't worry about them being too descriptive. In my org it is common to use the JIRA ticket number in there somewhere but other than that I think you should leave it u

I get it, but Advent calendars are not just German. I am pretty sure they are common all over the western world where Xmas is celebrated. But Advent doesn't in any way mean 25.

Advent does not mean 25. It just means 'the coming', so 12, 25, 1, 8 are all acceptable lengths. And if you reay need it to be 24 you can calm it 0.5 per day.

It is easily gamed and it requires providing documents, usually these are photos or reproductions of passports which are provided digitally and can be easily altered. And employers don't have the skill or ability to detect them, or oft

Could you explain what it is you find so distasteful about ID cards? I mean if you have a passport then you already have an 'ID card', but I certainly don't want to take that out with me to prove my age.
