For the first part of your math, YC has spent at least 1.5 million (~300 founders * 5000). Team sizes vary, but if we hold them at 3 members, we get another half mil. So by my very back of the envelope calculations they've invested about $2

I don't think he sold them with a time limit. For a simple reason: the cards had to be refreshed after they had hit their withdrawal limit. This, coupled with the fact that they all happened at the same time, strongly points to realtime com

Note that the stock:cash ratio was not disclosed. Depending on what it is, the payout could be significantly less (in the near future, at least; I am firmly in the camp that facebook is worth billions).

i can only speak to having 3. https://dl.getdropbox.com/u/163594/IMG_0077.png I like it quite a bit...it helps especially when you have 3, 4,5 IDEs open and don't feel like constantly resizing/maximizing them.
