- chris11 18y agoOrbitz has used it for awhile. See http://www.paulgraham.com/carl.html http://www.paulgraham.com/carl.html. I found over 50 companies that also use it. http://www.pchristensen.com/blog/lisp-companies/ http://www.pchristensen.com/blog/lisp-companies/

- parenthesis 18y agoI like that the child ids are keyed with "kids"; but was disappointed that the parent id isn't keyed with "mom".
- parenthesis 18y agoITA, InspireData, PWGL, Viaweb, news.yc, reddit (initially), ...
- zachbeane 18y agohttp://wigflip.com http://wigflip.com is probably the best-known and highest-traffic Lisp success story!
- omouse 18y agoEmacs. It uses C as a base but the rest of it is all Emacs-Lisp.

- mroman 18y agoI think AutoCAD is written in Lisp. I like that, Lisp used to make something used to make something.
- parenthesis 18y agoI think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AutoLISP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AutoLISP is what you're thinking of. I doubt AutoCAD itself is written in Lisp.
- gibsonf1 18y agoIt actually was originally written in Lisp, and AutoLisp is still used to interface with it. (This is how I started learning Lisp in the first place, to create 3d models of designs with a little Lisp help.)
- ii 18y agoHere's a quote from related email discussion (Jan. 2009): "Here's an indisputably real-world example: AutoCAD. Most of it is written in a customized LISP; the C part is the LISP interpreter core." -- ERS
