Your missing he part where you have to configure all those packages. Having new features already setup and integrated for me is a huge plus. It takes a lot of work to mimic something as well done as Spacemacs.

Once I realized terminal emulators are more defined by their limitations then their features, I started running all my shells in emacs. Never looked back.

Interstingly, Apple maps has my subdivision but google maps doesn’t. I have even submitted feedback to them about this. Which means whenever I want to give someone my address I need to tell them to use Apple maps.

But google assistant is on device, so it is not hampered by these sort of limitations.

“Banning” pollution is not realistic. Any economy of this scale is going to produce pollution. And while some technologies like fossil fuels are worse then others, there is no pollution solution. So the best the EPA can do it manange the po

I would be seriously surprised if any smartphone company added PWA's to their app stores. Web apps inherently can't take advantage of many platform/model specific features. Even thing like UI elements, fonts, gestures etc. OS

This is the best thing I have read in a long time. I have always been skeptical of "superintelligence" and glad to see I am not alone.
