A couple of problems are at play here: 1. Many social theories aren't falsifiable science. Examples for this are Marxism, where every criticism of the theory can be framed as an attempt to keep the "lower class" from "ri

There is one thing I don't understand about the whole safe-space debate: People demand the environments they reside in to be friendly and comfortable according to their definition. In a way they are demanding that all "hostiles&qu

I use http://tachyons.io/ for everything and couldn't be happier. It gives you lots of singe-purpose classes that you mix and match. And most importantly it gives you a REM-relative scale for your spaces: http:/&

It's a result of many unconscious decisions by your brain which aim for regeneration and conservation of energy mainly. Even when those are not needed..., the brain isn't too clever about modern work-load.

I had a lot of gotchas with babel too, until I realized one thing, that should be featured prominently in every bug-tracker having anything to do with babel: Babel will look for a .babelrc in the current directory of the file being transpi

They are a company focussing on just one commercial product. Also I find there's some kind of pride in quality amongst mac-developers. Plus the lastpass vulnerability that was disclosed a couple of month ago seemed pretty basic and I h

I'm not sure about that. I think most multinationals follow the same double-irish structure [0] which is based on laws in Ireland, the Netherland and the Bermudas. According to Wikipedia (just listing the IT-companies): * Adobe Systems
