I can see this being very useful in teams. Hell, its even useful for a single developer as a form of future documentation. I generally write code today and think, when I read this in 6 months and have no memory, how can I help my future sel

I just ended up using Heroku for an API instead. I was able to use the latest language version and microframework of my choice and still not worry about servers. Setup was way more intuitive than AWS. Testing locally was a known thing and e

As someone who doesn't spend much time on the front end of things, this post renewed my interest. Great explanation of tech used and why. Actually using it on my Nexus 5 was unlike any site I've used before.

Agree completely with this. The tracking capability today is, scary. Between Google and Facebook I've noticed some gorilla type ad behaviour. I'm basically done with both services now.

So this is essentially the same as man in the middle attacks but your basically saying here are all my keys. Scary. They better step up security on the extensions review process. I've already dumped chrome/Google because it tracks

I'm skeptical about investing anymore time into Drupal after using 7 extensively for the past few years. Any work I've done was mainly custom module development, soap, rest apis, aws integrations, ecommerce, etc. Pretty app heavy

Different markets, different business models. DO isn't going after large businesses. A startup could get traction on DO and then migrate to something like AWS when they need more flexibility but will have larger costs. If DO started t

I feel like the barrier to machine learning for me, as I've seen in many tutorials and books and is an immediate discouragement, is the massive amount of math thrown in your face. Many of us didn't just graduate, need glasses and

After quickly browsing the docs how do you interact with this? It's written in C++ and needs ZeroMQ. That's about all I managed to get out of it so far, no code examples and very light docs.

I would have used Go for an API recently until I found out the AWS SDK for Go isn't production ready. Libraries still have some catching up to do but will only get better with more time and testing.

AWS has GPU clusters already available FYI: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/using_clu... Not sure how much effort is required to use them with this library.
