I think that's true, our last big donation to EFF was a while ago. I know some executives have donated over the years significantly, but not as 'google'.

The Google payment to Mozilla has been in the form of a ad revenue sharing deal since 2005 or so. Before that you could characterize it as a donation, or something.

NASA and the DOE did a study on this and they determined that it was too expensive to do it, though safe enough but that we might want the waste later. Vitrification and storage was deemed cheaper, safer and more 'reversible'.

They're a little off, but not much. The problem is that most people can't build a 5k sq ft place on a 7500 sq ft lot without going down as well as up. Basements in the Palo Alto flood zones are crazy expensive to build and permit

It's a better bet to say the 777 killed the passenger 747. The real question is if cargo operations will continue to drive 747 demand. It'll probably look like tanker/military demand for the 767. The a380 cargo option never

Not really, this looks like a nuisance suit that hired a publicist. Googlers don't want to comment on lawsuits, it's time consuming and turns into deposition, which are time consuming. Also, most googlers are not anywhere near X,

The Bingham actually has a conveyor works lower in the pit that goes through the side of the mountain to the processing plant. At least it did when I was there, this was before the big collapse there a few years ago...
