I have to admit, I loved the review simply for the use of the word "antegoogluvian". But, substantively, what does 'free' mean? When a reporter writes about a book he didn't write for a publisher he only works for likely in a freelance basi

I don't know why people are downvoting you. I can tell you that I've seen the same thing and having dealt with the fallout of bad hiring, I'd rather miss some good or even great candidates rather than hire someone bad. Edi: To clarify: I wo

Have you considered interviewing again (I'm assuming some time has passed)? I think its usually a pretty good sign when interviews go long. I think it might be worth your time. Feel free to email me if you'd like.

That's impossible, we don't change enough of it to give a similar amount back. We could give back more (and we're trying to get there), but as you read in the article much of what we do is back porting.

The E-Ink guys had a decent business in train station information displays. They would replace the old 'flip' and led style displays with cooler running e-ink.

When the StarTac came out, it was revolutionary in size and function. I don't know what you think was wrong with its usability, but compared to other phones of the time, it was pretty great. Let's see more engineering driven projects!

I would also mention the most important part: Leo works his ass off to a degree that would shock most podcasters dead. His operation is very small, and he does a huge amount of work all by himself, from production to editing to ad sales, ne

I drove by today on El Camino and I thought it looked naked. Now I know why. Freaky. That said, I had a diseased oak lose a limb , if it had hit someone , or my car, it would have really done some damage.

Well, the sauce is nice, but more realistically, why should every story about chrome mention webkit? How could we (google) police that? We mention webkit all the time and , more importantly, try to get our fixes and patches upstream.
