At this point were just covering what is being spoken about, not advising any route of action. I will look into this further and see if we need to add a disclaimer. Thanks for bringing this up :)

Hey sorry for the confusion! There is a link "read a sample" that you can click on. Ill make that more prominent.

Im aggregating stock chatter from the worst parts of the internet (wallstreetbets, 4chan), summarizing it and sending it out as a newsletter here: https://topstonks.com

Haha this is great! You should reboot this. We've talked about doing something outside of email, maybe a podcast or livestream or something.

Thank you! It's been a lot of fun to work on so far. Let me know if you see something you'd like us to cover :)

I'm sure algos key off metrics like the amount shorted as a percentage of float. I can't know their algo but I'd imagine they like to see the specs jumping in before they start buying. Tesla is a battle of narratives and WSB

You're not alone! I've been tracking /r/wallstreetbets for my new project https://topstonks.com and no one there seems to understand it. A lot of great theories though. Out of the 6434 stock mentions in the

My advice would be to network, network, network. All the part time opportunities I've found have been through a friend's referral. It's been essential to helping me balance my workload while launching my latest project (we&#x

A strategy that I've found helpful in getting more done, and feeling more motivated to work on side projects is to cut away extraneous distractions. As soon as I put away videogames, and TV time for a few days I not only found that I h

Hello! TopStonks is an (almost) daily newsletter covering investment chatter from the underbelly of the internet. We're covering /r/Wallstreetbets and will be moving on to 4chan and a few other places soon. We send out a dail

Thank you for this! As an individual who relies heavily on DO for getting small projects off the ground, this is reassuring to hear.

Great feedback! We'll likely be setting up some kind of platform to show realtime data in the next few weeks. The value I hope we provide is in summarizing and simplifying major trends in these often overlooked, and sometimes sketchy p

Great catch! We're still very early. The landing page is not completely dialed in yet. Going to get SSL, privacy etc set up in the coming days, and then do a proper launch.

The folks on hacker news are always looking for ideas to turn into a project. I had a few folks actually build the ideas that came through on the newsletter. That was really rewarding to see.

Someone actually developed an MVP of this concept. It was really highly upvoted on hacker news but I can't remember the name of it. I don't think the project ever got off the ground, but I can say it was definitely a popular idea
