Professors are not obsolete. Professors who spend their students' tuition on research and professional equivalencies instead of teaching and putting a majority of their efforts into their classes are.

"kind of like arguing how many knots are permissible in a plank of wood destined or a kitchen floor" Having sat through an hour long lecture on lumber grades in a scenic construction course, let me tell you, it is anything but vague.

I would say that with teh direction Apple is taking Lion (and whatever will come past that) and iCloud, they are also pretty committed to "push[ing] a meshing of the desktop and tablet ecosystems into one OS".

Likely the reason was "to make the joke work." And also that RVM is a development tool, and the overhead it adds to production is silly.

Yea, you don't want to automate this. You need to keep your resume personal and truly tailored to the job. Unless you really work on natural language parsing the job description and the "about" pages of the company website, it's going to

Not all Starbucks shops accept mobile payment yet. To do it, they have to re-fit their POS computers, the roll out has been taking almost a year and it's still not complete.

You are wildly misinformed! HIV is not a death sentence in first world countries. It's an awful life to live, granted, but it's still a life to live. The real concern here is that this test isn't accurate for as long as THREE MONTHS after

Nowadays, something like this can also be seen as somewhat insulting to a venue. We spend hours pouring over contract riders to make sure we meet the specifications, and many more hours pricing out the materials and labor necessary for an
