This is massive and props to the team! I have a small prototype for interop between 0.1 and 0.3 futures which are also compatible with async/await first order. Excited for where this takes us! Can't wait for tokio 2.0 now. https:

Hmmmm, so what's Intel's play with this distro? The new RHEL replacement? Otherwise, Forbes article for this kind of "opinion" makes me very conscious about if this was "prompted" or not. No harm intended just

I wish these cloud providers would "open source" their pricing models. I know some people were probably abusing the hell out of the matrix api but the price hike is quite insane tbh. Maybe this sounds dumb but it's for this r

Great move on Google's part marketing-wise with all the discussions about Amazon using other tools' api layers and then doing whatever they please underneath without upstreaming. Sure, yes yes, they might just be solving very spec

It's not about that, though. It's amazing that Postgres is taking off like this! I just want to be cautious that the more we use services like Aurora, the more we're relying on our cloud providers to maintain stability with t

100% agree. I'm just weary of all these "mini optimizations" that all these cloud providers are about to start doing differently.

In the latest world of Postgres: - we now have closed source Amazon Aurora infrastructure that boasts performance gains that might never see it back upstream (who knows if it's just hardware or software or what behind the scenes here)

Hiya, folks! I'm starting this a series of how CTOs and product owners attempt to keep track of all different "contexts" surrounding the same data/product. Spotify is a great example with their supposed C++ master lib.
