This is also a nice feature suggestion. Again, it would require that you do not publish (push) your commits until you definitely finished your day's work. If have no idea if this would be practical. Would it be for you?

Great minds think alike! git-privacy already supports someting like that with the privacy.limit option. The idea with the linear redistribution is nice and we already thought about such a feature, but it is complicated by the problem that y
