> 400 kW CCS chargers are being deployed while Tesla's chargers still max out at 250 kW The EVBox literature discusses 400kW per station, but each station has two CCS cables that can share that power. Since the max power delivery of

Just wanted to pick up on this minor point: > current bottleneck seems to be RAM RAM exhaustion is often a secondary side effect of the true underlying bottleneck. It could be that RAM used for temporarily processing an HTTP request, say

Three phase is a red herring. No consumer needs to use all three phases to charge their car at home overnight. You’ll wake up to a fully charged car every day on single phase, as the vast majority of us do. Same applies even with the slight

There are Samsung and Nokia phones you can buy if you want a phone with replaceable batteries. I want an iPhone because it's a more sleek device and it's waterproof. Why would you want to take options away from me?

It’s an interesting argument, but I don’t think users provide their content for altruistic purposes. Some do it to benefit from a sense of participating in community, some to build reputation and some to prove their expertise. In all cases

Yes, precisely that. Also, "Halal" is a means to gain religious supremacy/monopoly in the food sector. Only Muslims are permitted to work in Halal abatoirs.

I found the EV6 dark and claustrophobic on the inside, and uglier than the Model Y from the rear. Really dislike those weird droopy/saggy lines on the EV6 rear end. Aside from that, if you want range, the Y beats the EV6, although the

Unfortunately in a country like Turkey, if Twitter doesn’t comply with the regime, the regime simply blocks Twitter for everyone in the country. Erdogan meddles (with only partial success, hopefully) or Erdogan blocks? What’s worse?

Google have felt the sharp end of EU regulations several times, at a cost measured in billions of Euros https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antitrust_cases_against_Goog... Might be a lesson that OpenAI is yet to learn.

One warped man was able to turn a whole nation into a genocidal war machine in the 1930s, even with the basic communications/propaganda technology of the time. Most Germans would probably have never seen Hitler in person. Imagine if an

The notion of “alignment” seems optimistic at best. How can we hope to “align” an emergent super-intelligence with our own values and goals? Analogy - How would ants “align” humans?

Socialism is state ownership of the means of production. "Community, Cooperative, Employee owned" are all concepts that can (and do) exist under a capitalist regime. Socialism is very different, and it does prevent free markets.

At least free markets -allow- competition. In socialism/communism all sectors become state monopolies, with no market incentive to provide a decent service, nor to compensate workers fairly.
