my take is that this is definitively the case. to correlate Y with X, regardless of context or validity, makes you X ist. yes, this is troubling.

i have no formal experience in teaching, but given my own experience i'd have to say that having a technical mentor who is close to you is the single most important factor. important enough that it could probably stand alone (with the prope

OP is in a pretty unique form of callback hell. a list, a function, and a for loop would suffice.

router functions i think are sufficient. if size is a problem, multiple routers could help. different routers could also generalize instantiation for certain types of pages. if it gets more specific than that, i put it into the page view lo

my point is that these questions seem either misdirected or simply answered. that is to say, it's not a framework. it's a set of classes. how you handle templates, how these classes fit together, etc is hardly a function of Backbone. don't

OP started using Handlebars helpers. there is no "rethinking" happening here and it hardly even pertains to Backbone.

i'm getting abstract here but i think the point i am trying to make is that addiction in any capacity is not enough to qualify someone as a "complete moron". i considered that this might be overly semantic. but if not definitively incorrect
