They're not natural born killers, that's for sure. If they killed someone, they'd hide the weapon in a church and just throw the body behind a bush. I've always wondered why most criminals are so stupid sometimes...

It was mentioned in the affidavit. Warner was the one who went around hiding the evidence. When confronted, he divulged the secret locations. Both Hogan & Warner seem like ultra sketchy people. It's funny that Hogan made the remark

So now we know why a search warrant was issued... I wonder what was in the flash drives? Pictures of the iPhone? Seems like it would be easier to just format the drive instead of physically disposing it somewhere...

cheap way to solve that problem is just to wear one of those gloves with holes cut out for the fingers... I use my bicycling gloves and they work great. I don't think we need to use fancy technology to solve this simple problem :-)

It's funny that you mention this because desktop syncing is where Android really got it wrong. Try buying a droid/htc/etc and try using the manufacturer's software for upgrading the firmware -- basically impossible for the average user. J

I think BGI is using an even older version. Those guys handle a few billion trades a day using Sybase, and I don't see them upgrading any time soon. They tried switching to Oracle a few years back but the project got canned. When I was th

Smalltalk has equally long method names in many places... see some of the morphic libraries... ObjC is basically naming type parameters. I don't think their (ObjC) collection support is too bad either. Also, the manual memory management o

Higher chance of having better apps. Games don't really survive in a low-profit environment -- graphics/sounds/assets costs money usually. There aren't a lot of great open source games.

It's a bit different though -- if you look at stats on Flurry for some of the popular apps, you'll see that there is less than 3% iPhone OS 2.0 users out there. That's simply because iPhone users get a free OS upgrade when they hook up to

I think you would care about making money more than the size of the platform. There was a time when MySpace had 2x more users than Facebook, but app developers on MySpace didn't have the same level of virility that Facebook apps had and th

There's quite a few available on Froogle: http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=capacitive+stylus They would probably also work with other touch devices: droid, nexus one, laptop trackpads, etc.

It's always easy to drop the price on the app store, but very hard to increase the price. So it's rare to see an app go up in price.
