SC2K had a beautiful interface, I concur, but it was broken as a sim, because of how transport was simulated. Paths were drawn, kind of like ray-traced, from each tile, and at a junction, a random route was taken. There was no directivene

I have never, and will never, forgive Creative for destroying Aureal by suing them into bankruptcy via legal costs. Aureal made 3D audio for the first time - real 3D audio, ray-traced sound - and it was absolutely staggeringly amazing. I p

I would say to you that in the normal case, in general, across all fields - bicycles, clothing, tables, chocolate, holidays, houses, butlers, what-have-you - cost is related to outcome, and this is what would be expected. In the normal ca

We do not need all doctors to be uber doctors. We need a range of doctors, who range in price according to quality . That way for simple stuff, which anyone can get right, we go to a cheap, reasonable doctor. A similar example would be if

I may be wrong, but I think the real solution is to increase supply, not constrain demand. Indeed, constraining demand acts to constrain a factor which acts to encourage supply.

I have to say, I had HL - bought it, and a few other games - moved to Steam, moved the games there, then in the end, few years later, bailed on Steam. Customer service was appalling. I lost everything. I love HL, and if I could get hold o

Changing the ticket is treated as a new ticket, which you pay for in full minus the price you've paid for the existing ticket. This meant 400 GBP per person to not take the first hop.

I look these days to minimize airline use. In part because the boarding process is long and stressful, and in part because airlines are often unpleasant in their conduct. Trains are much, much nicer. Slower, of course, but zero hassle boar

I couldn't view the blog post. The "Just a moment" security check does not complete - sits there, with the busy icon, "Verifying". Using Tor Browser, which will be why. This is normal behaviour for Cloudflare sites.

I may be completely wrong, but I have read that the underlying chemistry is endothermic, which is to say, requires energy to occur. In other words, you have to generate energy to remove CO2 from the air. Problem is, how do you generate that
