I’m not sure you actually save as much time as you might think if you are flying yourself when you factor in flight planning, pre-flight inspections, etc. Definitely airport pairs where this could be a huge time savings though.

I suspect few people here think they should pay no tax, however I’m quite sure that most would disagree about what the “right” amount would/should be. Furthermore, this is exacerbated by the quality and quantity of public goods differe

My guess is that’s and approximation of the U.S. companies’ foreign source income that they don’t want to be double taxed on...were the double taxation to go away there wouldn’t be a need to play this game
