TV networks can and do reject putting on ads that violate a certain threshold of misinformation. As for mail, that's closer to private chat than broadcasted ads so I don't think that's super relevant. They're not talking

Do you need a brand new language to solve that problem though? That sounds like something solved by a FaaS platform that exposes a database and other common primitives out of the box, of which plenty are popping up all over the place. If we

That progressive deployment is neat and all, but I'm not convinced that's a problem that actually existed. More importantly, I'm definitely not convinced it's a big enough feature to drive a significant amount of develop

Sure I can see that logic. But how many people are writing APIs and either 1) aren't experienced enough to figure out how to write a Lambda function (using a wrapper FaaS like Netlify), or 2) are experienced and are willing to sacrific

Sure, but that social graph didn't instantly have Tinder. This is built into the Facebook app, you don't even need to install another app. Much easier to get a larger network faster.

This is a pretty solid, simple idea, gotta say. Of all the "quick website" apps, this approach seems like it could get a pretty good result from the get-go, given a good amount of social media / website information available
