Oh yeah totally ironic. The factory where Toyota taught GM how to make cars reliably has completely regressed to a mess of scrap and tents. They even got rid of the railroad siding which seems crazy to me for a pro-environment company.

My opinion is that he had no GOOD reason. He just knew the Windows dev stack and has a giant ego. But, I'm probably biased since he reminds me of managers/PMs I've worked with in my career that have weak opinions strongly hel

His bad decision (to migrate to Windows) at PayPal caused an engineering mutiny and led to the board firing him as CEO. So I think he has always been stubborn and impulsive.

I agree. A communist system would also be far more equal in regards to public education. California punished the poor children and rewarded the rich children able to supplement with tutors or switch to private education during the pandemic.

I think the data might be poor. The uncorrelated question is a strawman since I didn't write that. Denmark gets it: https://inews.co.uk/news/science/why-denmarks-covid-deaths-h...

The CDC page you linked has graphs and stats of patients "with covid". I don't care much about that. I want to know hospitalizations FROM covid. Where can I get that?

I like that he specifically mentioned open floor plans. This is the number one reason why I don't want to return to the office. I kinda do want to go back. But I need my privacy and some quiet. I can't do the open floor plan ever

In that case, do you still have Amazon Prime? I cancelled my membership to it. I buy something every couple weeks and haven't noticed a difference in delivery times, though they give me long estimates that have been easily beaten.
