You can use the Yahoo CSV file generator: http://ichart.finance.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=YHOO&a=00... This is an example for Yahoo quotes from Jan 1 2012 until April 1 2012. So exchange YHOO for the ticker you want. And then: a = star

Either do it yourself using the urllib and re modules or use BeautifulSoup as is already suggested. I would use urllib/re because that way you will learn more about Python I think (and about reg.ex).

I have it installed on one of my websites as a test. Installing was real easy; only a DNS change needed. I used it to increase my google pagespeed score, which it did. It does effect Analytics though but mainly the tracking of the visitor I

I was surprised also. mysqldb and mysql-python don't seem to support it. If you know of a mysql module for P3, please let me know.

Are you just reading/learning/performing the things day by day? So day 6, you only do the things of day 6, etc? If so, I think you should also repeat some of the days before. So on day 6, also go over days 3/5 briefly again. And write .py c

I agree. I am a PHP developer and just started learning Python a few days ago and must say, for now, it is indeed easy to learn and is very readable. Though I never tried Ruby so I can't tell you if I would find that easy also.

Maybe you can also automatically show the real links in stead of the shortened URLs (if they are shortened), so you have an idea of where the URLs will take you.
