Because the team who developped these stupid templates dont care about users, that's a fact. Or why would they do that ? they just want to kill their plateform and move on. that's the only explanation.

It's not like you need to go there... want to study abroad ? go to Europe, or China. India is a sh*t hole , sorry ,there is no other word. ( and i've been there with my gf, she felt safer in Bangladesh...)

nope they are just using bootstrap+flat-ui template. Please developpers, hire actual designers. Using the same theme everybody uses will make your product forgettable.

Github is just a node. IF Github dies , people still have the full repos on their computers.That's not always the case with SVN... And most people are too lazy/dont have resources to set up a git server anyway.

PHP is crap ,i use it everyday but come on , it is in 2013 , nobody is forcing no-one to use that . If you can use python,go,java or ruby go for it. The only thing that saves PHP is type hinting with methods and functions. Otherwise i prefe

works well with webstorm/phpstorm but i agree , useless without realtime help in a IDE. Sometimes the compiler issues an error it is really hard to get what's wrong without visual clues , unless one likes to count lines and column

they dont compile JS natively. Your code is still in javascript but get executed in a native shell, instead of using a web view , but there is no js compilation into native code.

wrong appcelerator doesnt use CSS/HTML , just javascript. The UI is native with appcelerator.
