doesnt matter , they use it under the hood. and the fact that you have little control over how ExtJs actually uses the DOM will not make your app faster...

Nothing wrong. But i guess DOM manipulation can be painfull sometimes. But if you are going to develop a web app you'll have to use the dom.

Poor name , sounds like a uglify like lib , not a DOM manipulation lib. You should changed it. And it's no alternative to jQuery or Mootools since your lib doesnt support a lot of stuffs these libs provide.

The problem again is not really javascript, it is DOM manipulation. You can have the fastest javascript engine ever,if the bottelneck is the DOM , there is little you can do about it. And everybody doesnt own a quad-core mobile. I like Tita

Instead of creating another framework , make a service provider/controller and make your library pluggable with any Silex application. Sorry but silex is ultra pluggable , so dont force people into something. Silex Di is here to help a
