i found Baas really hard to test , especially when you need to upload some bits of business logic somewhere ... I tried a bit with couchdb and couchapp, but i never figured out how to unit tests attached documents. Parse works a bit the sam

Can you share with us the tuning you did with class loading for instance ? thanks for your comment.

You'll be better off writing raw PHP without classes than using Go. Go performances are raw Go. As soon as you add any framework to the party , the perfs are falling. see the gorilla test which is a Go framework.

IMHO, . it is stated in the benchmark when a framework test uses an ORM or "raw" pdo/whatever for db request. Things like Doctrine are elegant and smart ,but let's face it,they are so slow. PHP is not JAVA. Hibernate may be fast on JAVA but

People chose language X over language Y not for performance reasons. Cost , ease of use and deployment , librairies , available programmers ,etc ... Things are more complicated than just a benchmarks. Furthermore NodeJS and raw PHP are doin

I think that what the main argument is, when one gets a Windowd laptop ,one can get something really powerfull and cheap. Macs are not that powerfull and not cheap at all. I bought my Mac a few years ago, I could have bought a x2 more power

flat design is a fad and will go away , like all trends. It's not bad , but since it is used everywhere even where it should not be used , it is an abused trend.

strictly typed languages like java are harder to write , but easier to work with (and document ) since one can know what is what , and what a method expects. It's easy to write a hash in JS but harder to understand what parameters are expec

So you are saying using a plugin is better than another one ? Doesnt make sense. How many users have the unity player deployed ? zip. And a plugin is still a plugin , wether it is flash or not.

because a drm plugin is a plugin, like flash or java applet. You'll have to download plugin DRM A,B or C to make it work. The only difference is that it will use the video tag.
