I'm looking for some articles about how to do syncing 101 by the way , i heard it's kind of hard. If anyone has good links about the subject ( on HTML5 offline/online sync <=> db server ) , it would be great.

I'm for using services to define whatever object used across controllers and other services. Using rootscope or scope inheritance is very tricky in AngularJS

It's also a good idea to use font-size:100% let the browser/user decide what font size to use , yours is a bit small. It should not break your layout. nice article.

that's definetly a very good idea. Customize your filenames with a relevant name , adding the date is a very good practice, and why not the user/customer name too ( for invoices, etc ... ).

Free lunch is over , Google tricked you into relying on them now you are about to understand that there is no such thing as a non paying customer , even in the internet world.

That's the point of PHP , you dont need a framework to do web development with PHP. PHP is merely a C Web dev DSL. Using a framework over a DSL makes no sense.

" And I assume PHP is as verbose as Java from what I've heard from other people (I've never used PHP)". So you dont even know what you are talking about?

It's a bit strange to include node with mongodb in the tests. Because it changes 2 variables in the test ( the web solution and the database ). You should stick to mysql(or whatever DB you are using) with every tests or it doesnt sound that

Some Java frameworks are not doing that well on all tests. So it is not a fair generalization. As for PHP vs Java , it is not really the point of the discussion , since raw php is doing very well.

Symfony caches everything , dumping resources ( configs , templates , ... ) into PHP files. So when you are using Twig on a production server you are not actually reading twig files but basic PHP files with echo statements.

I agree , sans serif is just not readable. A mix between serif for text and sans ( for headers , titles ,etc ... ) is the way to go. I just cant read any long text that is sans. It's very painfull.

PHP and PYTHON are slow too. Like them Ruby can take advantage ) of C extensions. You cant write everything in ruby like PHP developpers use native drivers for database communication , compression , image manipulation ,etc ... that's normal

Extjs is extremely popular. It's a pain to debug and to learn , but it's kind of the most "enterprise" js framework out there. It's is "full stack" (as much as client side can be) and comes with it's own IDE ,etc ... People coming from java

node is designed for async io, is fast , but not that fast when it comes to heavy sync calculations , i guess it is not for everything. but since most webdevs know javascript it is the perfect buddy for any other solution out there.
