I think this has a flaw. Considering that you will be presenting the end user with multiple options and the choice to only select one, the user can simply spend 4-5 seconds to select each option one by one until they get it right - Does not

Commit messages need to convey what will happen if you merge that commit in. Plain and simple. That's all that is needed of them. Of course, you need to tag the ticket number (in case you are using Cloud based solutions like Github
