These are really great. If anyone is interested in collaborating, I'm thinking about converting these (and the SendWithUs ones) into ActionMailer layouts and views for use in Rails apps.

It's weird that they list Stripe as a competitor given that one is focused on in-person/retail and the other online payments. They currently aren't really substitutes. That being said, I always thought Square should have offe

This looks nice, but it's been a long time since I've worked in a organization that would need this so it's hard for me to comment on the value it would bring. I'm curious, though: can you provide anonymous feedback? How

Well said. I actually built an MVP for a "Kickstarter for Missionaries" crowdfunding project a couple years ago. I thought (and still do, to some degree), it could be a good way for churches and missionaries to get steady/pre

Great job, Tim. Looks really solid. I really think you should team up with someone to offer hosted versions of this to churches (take the WordPress model). My church uses The City [0] which charges anywhere from $20 to hundreds of dollars a

I was sort of attempting to string together related milestones (transportation). It would be better to compare card catalogs to wikipedia (and the printing press before). Or video communications (FaceTime/Skype) with the telegraph and

I know the signal-to-noise ratio is REALLY high, but I have some great, repeat freelance clients I found through Craigslist. Some are local and some are remote and they pay market rates. I'd suggest (especially if you're just star

I know we marvel at the pace of technology lately but it blows my mind that humankind went from: 0. Bicycles in the early/mid 19th century (depending on your definition) 1. to motorized cars 50ish years later 2. to actually flying at t

That's understandable from the HN crowd. BUT a wedding photographer doesn't care about your black list (no offense). In his/her mind (right or wrong), a bride-to-be has no reason to right click. The only people who might-righ

This is super interesting because we've had to deal with it for a long time. In fact, "I don't want my images stolen" was one of the main objections we had when trying to get website customers to move from Flash to HTML5
