Ah, the eternal argument over what qualifies as "low-level". I think we can all agree it's not Javascript, but beyond that opinions vary greatly and it's mainly a semantic issue.

When people like Michael Taylor run the FDA, that's clearly agency capture. The industry has infiltrated government positions, I don't know how anybody can act like they're innocent in all this.

Hiding research results should be seen as this scandalous, shameful, and fundamentally anti-scientific practice. A heavy bias towards business profits, which is exactly what this is, goes against objective science. What if you kept repeatin

Here's some good reading in case anybody believes this kind of stuff is new. They had it down to a science nearly 100 years ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Bernays

None of that actually answers what causes insulin resistance to develop in type 2 diabetes. You can't claim that sugar "almost certainly" isn't the cause.

I'm not following this logic, we don't know what the direct cause of diabetes Type 2 is, but there's evidence it's linked to sugar. What this means is that you can't authoritatively state that sugar is the cause of

In my opinion at least, the science is clear. The human body isn't built for large amounts of heavily processed foods, and consuming them in excess causes a whole spectrum of health issues. This is all made worse because health science

By all means, tell me what causes Type 2 diabetes then. The actual science is unclear, but it's linked to your diet.

That explains the difference between Type 1 and Type 2. I made sure to be clear which type I was talking about though.

I hate that they begin with "No, you don’t get it from eating too many sweets." Then later they admit that Type 2 diabetes risk is greatly increased by an unhealthy diet. So you can get diabetes from an unhealthy diet, like a diet

Why is there so much attention on glyphosate and not on polyethoxylated tallow amine? Both chemicals are in the weedkiller, yet the latter has consistently been proven to be more toxic.

To me, that seems like a case against Javascript. Invalid or broken content should return an error, the parser shouldn't try to "fix" it. And things like data types should be strictly enforced, otherwise you can get unpredict

How is Javascript better at string manipulation? I've never encountered anything special there that I can't do in just about every other language. Javascript just has more helper functions out of the box.

It depends, most require you to register first before your IP is hidden, just like Wikipedia. In both cases, it's so the mods at least have some kind of tools to (hopefully) identify who a person is.
