I use a 13" MBP with 8GB RAM and an Intel SSD. I could have gone with the MBA, but didn't like the thought of another Core 2 Duo. I have a 24" monitor at my office, and a 27" iMac (my wife's) that I use as a second display for my MBP. Best

One thing you did by getting rid of tags, categories, and possibly 'a few other frills' is you demolished a huge internal linking structure that existed on your page. Just like every external link pointing to your site gives you 'link juice

A decent SEO idea gone wrong. It seems they are trying to draw attention to their homepage for searches for Software, Smartphones, etc. when in reality they should be choosing one focus for the homepage, and optimizing category or subpages

I've actually heard the opposite. I was planning on moving from BlueHost to Media Temple Grid Server. I know neither are top-of-the-line-or-even-close services. But I don't have any 24/7 mission critical projects either.

I've used Queensboro.com. Tons of options, and solid pricing. Would definitely use them again.

Just a couple of quick thoughts: Design is 'meh', and off centered, which pains OCD people like myself. Focus on one or two social networks (Facebook + Twitter would cover 90% of the people that would use this site). The great thing about T

I work with senior medical alarms (I've fallen and I can't get up), and deal with a few home healthcare business owners. What type of market research are you doing? I can try and get someone who'd be willing to help you out based on what yo

Groupon -is- very easy to copy, hence the hundreds of Groupon clones making money hand over fist. However, even with the clones, Groupon seems to be doing just fine.

I just got the X25 less than a week ago. Now that I've seen the testing on this 510 and the Vertex 3, I'm debating returning the X25 and going for one of these models. I can preorder the 510 from Amazon for 295, still looking for someone se

Assuming you are targeting the correct market for your work (which other commenters have addressed), then you need to let basic supply/demand gauge your pricing. So the question to ask yourself is this: do you have enough work? If you have

I'll say "yeah, I usually charge $X for that, when can you work on it with me/when would you like that done?" If they're willing to pay for it, it shows that it's actually a legitimate help to them. If not, it saves my time.
