The thing I don't like in Redux is all the boilerplate code required to make simple things. I understand that in some point you may want/need to switch over to Redux but to start some projects I'm always considering a simple

In fact, it's still not the same. In Python, the following expression will raise a ValueError. > a(2) In J, it will return the length of the array, as stated in the post.

I think comparing it with other languages may make it easier to grasp. Sometimes it's good to test it in a language you are used to. The selector expression could be represented in Python like this: a = lambda n: [n % x for x in [1

I agree with you. I'm also not convinced that these kind of selectors are good to match Python code. It was more an exercise to develop a generic library that helps implementing jQuery-like selectors [1]. Even if the project doesn'

I'd like to know if there is something similar for Python, or something like https://github.com/rubysec/ruby-advisory-db for Python.

It would be better if it could consider exchange rates. Lets say I receive in USD but in the end I get it in BRL. Right now, 1 USD is ~ 3.40 BRL but last year it was ~ 2.80 BRL.

I'm working in a project called Codenizer ( http://codenizer.co ) that aims to help Python developers to maintain and keep their projects up-to-date. Basically, it verifies whether a new version of a certain library is compat

Between Rust and Go (for Pythonistas) I still prefer Rust. One thing that bothers me in Go is that, like Ruby, when you import something you don't know exactly what's being injected in the context. So it's quite bad to unders

I never use rebase, but I don't see problems if your branch is local . I would prevent rebasing after pushing the branch to remote. Anyway this branching model doesn't looks so that simple.

Such a very useful service, thanks! :) It would be nice if it could detect inner commands and do a recursive parsing. Example command: find . -name ".txt" -exec iconv -f ISO-8859-1 -t UTF-8 {} \;
