A bit OT, but how do you guys handle database changes between multiple branches? Say I added some fields in branch A through multiple apps and then I need to go back to the master to do a fix. How do you revert the changes before checkout master?
- sdfjkl 13y agoIf you write backwards migrations as well as forwards, South will do that for you, so presumably the Django migration system will do as well.
- caioariede 13y agoI know this. But I'm wondering if there is an easy way to do that, like a checkpoint that I can rollback all migrations to a specific point.
- kanzure 13y agoSome people just choose to use separate database names for each branch.
