So if I make an app, and release it to the app store, and then cancel my account with Trigger, a splash screen starts when my users that already downloaded the app start it?

Yeah, but I feel like I've heard the same story every university that has the requirement - their spouse/child/dog died in the river, so they donated money with that condition. Either it is all urban legend, or rich people need to learn t

The physical education requirement was pretty fun. I mean, if you can take 'pistol' to satisfy it, how much can you really complain. On the other hand, I didn't understand why we had to pass a swim test.

I don't remember what course I took for that (6-2), but I'm pretty sure I didn't have to use TeX.

I think there is a difference between if you know the API the language provides and if you know the syntax of the language. I don't care if they can't remember order of parameters, or really even the name of the methods. But if you can't w

Probably depends on the employer. I've always asked people to write actual code, rather than pseudo-code, because I've found that a lot of pseudo-code I've gotten doesn't make sense or majorly glosses over things. (Think "and then a mirac

I've asked the Pascall's triangle question, but I always go to great length to explain what it is, as even if someone does know it, they probably haven't thought of it in quite some time.

Has anyone here used SuccessFactors? My company implemented it, but it just never really got traction. I'd be interested to hear if anyone had any success with it (no pun intended...)

This is a great book, but each of the sections are very short introductions to the topics. You dig in and actually build something, but not anywhere the same depth you would in a course dedicated to the topic. (And I didn't feel like th

I find it kind of odd that it doesn't actually say what language I am learning. (I mean, yes, I can tell, but if I were learning I wouldn't.) Was that on purpose?

Does this mean they will stop spamming me now? I mean, it just goes to my spam folder now, but they went from occasionally sending me something useful to junk almost every day, no matter how many times I unsubscribed.
