+1 for Jupyter Book. I had to fight with it a bit for some things around LaTeX/PDF generation, but was very pleased with the result.

I liked the book "Edly's Music Theory for Practical People". It has silly cartoons, and I think it explains things well. But I'd look at a preview or something of it to see if it is your kind of thing.

I did Montessori though 4th grade. Moving to public school in 5th grade was a shock because, while I had been doing algebra self-directed, I never memorized my multiplication tables. I really resented being forced to memorize lists that

But have you had a chance to look back and see if those questions worked out? Like, are they a good predictor for how the person actually performed in the job?

I agree liking to ask simpler stuff first. But what about this more complicated stuff? My problem is that when we talk about stuff having more "signal" - how are we determining if those questions are giving us more signal?

Can you share what kind of things these are that give far more signal?

On this topic, has anyone here used direwolf ( https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf ) to communicate between two computers without radios?

I saw "from $199" and thought this looked like an incredible deal. Then realized it was just how the font was rendered, and it was actually "$1199". I'm not quite sure who the market for this is - that is crazy.

I have nothing to add except to say the illustration on your page of the mad scientist rabbit with the carrot is fantastic :)

Just a note - the "Getting started" button on https://hathora.dev/ does not seem to do anything for me.

I mean, according to https://www.metal-archives.com/stats , they have 3265646 total songs listed, so having a few hundred about an empire that lasted hundreds of years doesn't really feel like a "fascination".

I'm on macOS 12.1 and Chrome 97.0.4692.99. However, I have since cleared cookies and I can't reproduce it now - all works as you say. Very cool project!

This is very cool! hyperhello - question: is the "how do I make cards?" button at the bottom of one of the cards supposed to do anything? It doesn't seem to for me.

How are you comparing the efficiency of a SMPS and a transformer? They are different things. Would love to hear more.

I kind of wished the tetris game messed with you. Like have some crazy shape or have the score go all over the place. Somehow I think that would get more people that the xp theme itself.

Being able to have my programs on a hard drive rather than switching between floppy disks was pretty nifty. Going from a 300 baud modem to 1200 baud modem I guess is technically only a 4x difference, but it definitely felt more at the time.
