I don't think there's anything that we can do. In my view, we need OpenAI to build models capable of working with separated instructions and data. I would be interested in seeing some papers that show how this could be done.

Getting bored of seeing posts every single day about prompt injection. I got it the first in the first thousand tweets and blog posts, it's insecure. It doesn't take a genius to understand how it works. Nobody ever claimed it was

Hopefully a Stripe engineer reads this and gives you a hotline to support. As that's what usually happens. As for other customers who don't browse HN, they can get fucked apparently. EDIT: aaand it happened

Meh, seems like an overreaction. ICANN being bribed into making company-specific TLDs is a bigger issue that nobody is talking about.

Is there any evidence this device even exists? The "leaks" seem to be hearsay at best. Apparently it will have foveated rendering which I doubt very much.

I suspect this leak was made by the author themselves and submitted to 4chan via Tor or a VPN. I don't have hard evidence to back this up but if you read the Wikipedia article about them, it's pretty easy to put two and two togeth

Apparently a lot of the UK's wind power is wasted because they're forced to stop the turbines when there's too much wind. I guess we could be doing something with that excess energy, not sure if Bitcoin mining is the best opt

I'm always excited to see new OS concepts. It's a shame that there's such a huge amount of work involved in building operating systems, otherwise we might have a lot more options to choose from. Back in the 80s you wrote an O

What I find scarier than AI or nukes is that the people running our countries have no understanding of either of these topics. They're way too old. Just go back and watch Zuckerberg in Congress if you need an idea of how technically in

Cloudflare are just selling a tool to solve a problem in the best way they can conjure. All of this comes from there being no universal way to prove you are a human on the Internet. If somebody were to invent a physical device (think YubiKe
