Collecting the taxes from a seller perspective is a solved problem - 10 minutes of Amazon account setup. Knowing if you have to collect those taxes, remitting them according to 50 sets of rules, often contradictory.. is a whole different st

This is worse - those are in-state sales according to most states: your goods are shipped from a warehouse in the state to an address in the state.

It's a clusterfuck of epic proportions. Let's say you use Amazon Fulfilment (FBA): 1. Does just storing goods in a state establish tax nexus in that state? Most states claim it does, but it hasn't been tested in court. 2. Ass

Not yet - there is no display support for that GPU in current Linux kernel, nor in 4.14 that is going to be released in 1-2 weeks. Users will have to wait for 4.15 - until mid-late January.

I see this quote used way too often as an excuse for shitty, under-performing code. No, don't go down a micro-optimization rabbit hole when making the first rough prototype. Yes, do stop to think for 10 seconds to think how much use th

That's because DirectX 11 and older have a single thread draw submission queue which is being a bottleneck. DX11 still dominates - right now there are five (5) DX12-only games and only a handful announced, because it's so complete

The comparison is somewhat weird and the space is a bit weird: - Xeon-w cpus seem to be i9 HEDT just without disabled ECC - everything else (beside a price premium) is the same - Epyc CPUs are server CPUs and I'm not aware of any deskt

I was talking about Intel i9s, which don't. Ryzen CPUs support ECC if mobo does, but were not formally validated for that. Threadripper and Epyc both support ECC and have been validated.
