Same here. I assumed flagging was something that required a certain amount of reputation. I've never even purposefully tried to see how to flag something, and I have 4 submissions flagged.

I'm a big fan of Kathy Sierra's "Badass: Making Users Awesome" [1] Less about UI but really focused on what users feel and how they experience what you build. 1. https://www.amazon.com/Badass-Making-Awes

Well we saw extreme disruption in the supply of fertilizer and some extremely poor growing seasons in some bread basket reasons around the world simultaneously, if I recall correctly (which I might not be).

On what basis would you conclude that "now" is not "soonest", other than conjecture?

I wish the UI/UX for Obsidian was better. It takes just long enough to search for a note that I want to edit that I end up just putting quick stuff in Google Keep due to its ease of use.

This is like worlds colliding. I only know Jeff Geerling because he apparently wrote every Ansible role in existence.

This may be unpopular on HN, but that's what Allan Savory has advocated for, along with rotational (holistic in his words) grazing of ruminants.

tilt is a local development tool for containerized apps that handles things like file watching, auto-rebuilds, etc. It can do k8s, multiple docker-compose setups, whatever. We've liked it so far: https://tilt.dev/
