If that's the case then I suspect the FAA will be next. There was an article on NPR a long time ago about how Airlines are required to offer service for low volume areas (high coast low profit) in exchange for getting rights to high vo

In the old days, Science Weekly[1] used to print 4-5 paragraph summaries of published research in a three-column layout. The magazine was dense with information across a huge number of topics. And in the very old days, newspapers used to p

Fun stuff! I'm struggling to see how it's a manifesto instead of a design spec. I was hoping to learn the perceived advantages of this architecture. (With a lot of brain power I could probably figure that out, but I haven't

To me this appears as a way to outsource customer service to an external entity funded by a cash flow to which Meta does not need to contribute. The courts are always going to exist, Meta is always paying its lawyers, so why bother hiring e

As others have mentioned below, a lot of sites and applications don't support embedded video, so GIF is the only way to go. I love using ScreenToGif to embed little videos into my email responses when I'm doing technical support.

Its not like airlines really have a lot of choice in manufacturer. Just because the backlog is there doesn't mean airlines wouldn't prefer a different supplier. And standing up a competitor is not really an option.
