You are admirably restrained on this. Behind the shortage of comments on this thread are a lot of people wondering how they reply in a way that doesn't downvote them into oblivion. I, for one, will call this spade as it is. What a c

My take on the story was that learning this language changed how she perceived reality, not that there was anything to do with time travel. I imagined she would only be able to think "forward" in time up to the point that she alr

History is pretty consistent that candidates actually do try to enact what they say during campaigns... Anyone expecting a suddenly different President Trump vs. Candidate Trump will likely be in for a surprise.

There's more to it than just sour grapes, there are minorities legitimately concerned about what their future in America looks like, would not be surprised if they made up a decent chunk of the visitors to that site.

Assuming it's not crashed by the minorities who are likely to feel the brunt of the policy changes... I'm having a lot of very sober conversations with my immigrant friends.

All the comments about comparing apples-to-apples have merit. But I see this as a commentary on the advance of civilization overall. What an amazing time in history that we have the luxury of dedicating resources to these pursuits. I hea
