Gotcha, I can dig it :) So like a nightly check-in in some ways, I read x much and had these thoughts. Like a little book diary.

Wow, I am surprised, to me that sounds terrible and that it would distract from the entire experience of reading/thinking. I write a bit after I read a book as I think through it, or it invades my daydreams. Do you do this for nonficti

I did a quick look using some SEO tools and don't see it falling much. There is more competition now trying to create better results for book searches and other pages, so maybe that is putting some pressure on different things they do

For me, I don't love Goodreads and I don't use it, but I was very excited for it during the initial few years. I don't think Amazon knows what they are doing with it beyond controlling real estate and data. Why did I get exci

Yep, there are a lot for book tracking. Most people don't like Goodreads for anything except book tracking; I've interviewed a ton of readers for my website and haven't found anyone positive about the book suggestions yet...

I think Goodreads might be improved if it had more community areas that got people within small active groups to foster community and HQ interaction... maybe a reimagining of book clubs for the online world. And maybe capping groups at ~50
