Thank you :) This is the first year I've done this, and I was surprised at how widely authors reads. I had expected authors to read wider than most readers but visualizing it still surprised me. I've still got ~250 authors votes t

This is my first year to do this, so I was very curious how many people read the classics versus new books within genres like sci-fi. I've been surprised how widely authors read, but that was my hope as I think they naturally read a lo

Yep, that is 100% my fault. I will fix that in the next 48 hours. I ran out of time and totally missed that I had done that.

This is one of my favorite lists we've gotten from an author, it is from Paul E. Smaldino who is a professor at the Santa Fe Institute. He is also the author of a book on modeling social behavior that is fascinating!

My favorite 3 of the year: Tom Swan and the Head of St George (By Christian Cameron) I fell in love with the lead character, who is like a 15th-century Indiana Jones wandering the Mediterranean and getting into trouble. He bumps into key hi

Sigh, almost nothing can survive without money to pay for it. Either through donations, some type of business model, etc. My day to day "job" is something for the public good and I do it without getting paid for it. But it still h

I find it hilarious that you would say this when you used to work for Google :) All Google does is hijack other people's hard-written content and slap ads around it. I am half-kidding, as I love Google, but I think your comment lacks s
