It’s “just” fatty pork, but its got a lot of preparation options that bacon doesn’t have because of the lack of smoke curing.

Does anyone who is eating bacon in any form really that concerned with the health aspects of it? I love bacon, but keep my usage very moderate.

That isn’t really accurate. The Roman Empire of the several centuries after the Arab conquests had its down period in the 800s, but came back strongly for several centuries from 900 through 1200 during which time they were the most powerful

The idiocy of badly interpreted statistics: “20% of electric car owners switch back to gas-powered cars of electric car owners switch back to gas-powered cars”. This kinda means that 80% don’t switch back. Given the current horrible state o

Short answer: it isn’t. A good answer to this question could easily be a finance or economics dissertation and I’m pretty sure a bunch of them are out there. Economics and finance are complex non linear systems with feedback. When a rule is

Tubes are probably the one thing that actually can have a real effect on the sound of an amp. The key word there is “can”.

Agreed. I’ve been driven by my M3 many times in one of the specific situations the author refers to (bumper to bumper on Boston’s SE Expressway) - with hands on the wheel to be sure.

Wow. 180% from me. HS: I’d have at least put in a bit of effort to get decent grades. My test scores (ACT, SAT) were much better than my grades implied. I had way too much “fun”. College: a decent small liberal arts program would have been

This is fishy. Not that I doubt it did indeed happen, but my experience is that finding non-Tesla high speed chargers on a road trip ranges from tricky and inconvenient to impossible. From that, I conclude that this was a well researched st

Your experience in flying between NYC and Boston on a Friday afternoon/evening flight must be really different from mine. I’ve spent hours in one or the other airport at times waiting for god knows what “equipment” to become available.

Right, and as a long term participant in this realm, I can definitely say that the speeding up is far greater than any cognitive decline I’ve had so far. To be sure - since it’s certainly possible that one wouldn’t notice one’s own decline,

I agree with your theory much more than that of the article. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always had the same theory so maybe it’s just confirmation bias. At any rate, I’m old and I can confirm that the speeding up isn’t just a myth.
