Yes. Lines should touch circles in a smooth way. There could be many arguments why it's kinda important. Like fit to other parts in a final assembly or production complexity. But even for DIY purposes this minor adjustments would suck

I appreciate your attempt and time spent. It's an amazing showcase how simple things could be easily expressed in OpenSCAD. But the part in question sadly is not that simple. All tangents are wrong.

I don't say it's impossible but I believe it's quite near to impossible for most of OpenSCAD users to model this relatively simple drawing[1]. It's a breeze in CAD with constraint solver. Also it's viable in code-fi

OpenSCAD basically has no tools to aid complex modeling. You have to know trigonometry and often use pen and paper to calculate points. Build123d has stateless algebra mode. And you could replace math with simple construction elements and s

+++ for build123d. Just finished TTT tutorial models and it was quite fun. There are some issues with non-regular fillets and 3d offsets but they are minor comparing to FreeCad crashes. Build123d algebra mode is fantastic, especially after

I don't argue that async/await could match manually written io loop for specific task. You started with blocking read/write and threads.

It seems epoll could be slower than poll for async/await environments. It requires epoll_ctl (syscall) on each fd state transition. `poll` could wait in a single syscall for a small set of current blocked fds.

Model 2 is wrong, most of async/await implements this: Nonblock read(), if EAGAIN: append fd into event waiting queue, wait event and read() again Nonblock write(), if EAGAIN: append fd into event waiting queue, wait event and write()

Another good property: it's trivial to make tag value autocompletion in query builder. A regular structure forces to partially evaluate a query to get meaningful results. With a metric prefix index it could be perfectly fine to return

In LLMs context pytorch.nn is low level. It's a crucial thing in education to not operate on too many abstraction levels.

Original code contains more. (::). Personally I don't understand why there are `::` and `.` to access deeper namespace levels. It's a static language, compiler should know how to resolve attributes and `.` should be enough for all

You could say you ignored math classes in a more short form. Parent describes a selection of element (f) from a set of functions such that `f(x)` equals `-f(x)`. Your python example is quite far from that.
