I agree that many people that didn't have a say in this will be affected. Do you have any suggestions on better measures that the EU could have taken? Or should the EU have taken no measures at all?

Maybe you're right, but considering how easy it is to set up a signal account (<5 minutes) vs messaging your assistant to provision a phone and a sim card (or a couple of them, just so that he could text someone), I'm not so su

> "the problem of men clamming up" Even when phrased that way, I don't perceive that the author is _blaming_ men. The author is critical of the mob, and the dangers of being incorrectly perceived as sexist and ruining one&

Ah this is a very good idea. I guess you still have to make sure that all your translation units include this header, which isn't completely foolproof. Static analysis would probably be more robust, but way more involved.

Their point is valid, though the comment reads condescending to me. Maybe it reads condescending to me because I don't agree with it, but I believe it could have been phrased in a less adversarial way: «Haskell does not scale to organi

I think that many of the outstanding issues are not related to how modules are specified by the standard, but rather how vendors are going to implement them. Some details that will affect usability and tooling are not baked-in into the stan

What makes you say that face-to-face never is the most efficient way of communication? I would be quite surprised if text-chat was ever proven to be the only kind of communication needed in the context of work.

I like the OP's view on "shaping the space of Game of Life universe" by just defining the getNeighboursOf function. I think that would be a core idea if one wanted to see Game Of Life as some abstract mathematical object. How
